Alright, guys, I just completed my build and am trying to download Windows 7. But when I try to upload the disk and insert it, nothing happens. I made sure to set the priority to CD-ROM, the system is stable, and I posted successfully. Why isn’t anything happening now? Thanks for your help!

I don't have pictures to show, but I can describe what happens if you ask about it.

Confirm the installation medium is correct unless you recently purchased it and are certain it functions. Ensure the CD drive has highest boot priority.

Ensure your CD drive is powered on and connected via the SATA port. If this doesn’t resolve the issue, attempt booting from a Linux USB stick. Success indicates a stable system, possibly involving Windows installation media or a disk drive. If the USB boots but the drive isn’t recognized, consider installing Windows onto the USB flash drive. Share your findings so we can assist you.

All links are established, the system won’t display the BIOS screen. The machine operates normally and sounds okay. I decide to start from the ASUS hard drive, it confirms the file size in BIOS, yet installation fails completely.

The system transitions to a black display and displays instructions to insert media or use the correct boot drive, confirming that the media was placed correctly alongside the appropriate boot drive.

The boot options menu lists multiple drive entries. Test each one individually. Verify the BIOS recognizes your drive.
