Here’s a revised version of your message:

The issue is on the TP Link settings page, where you can install OpenVPN by creating a certificate. I followed their instructions carefully—generating a certificate before selecting “use VPN.” I created several certificates for different ports (1194, 1198, 8089), but each time it keeps failing. I’ve already reached out to TP Link support, and they seem to have hit a roadblock. I’m using the newest OpenVPN version on a Windows 7 computer, so that might be the cause. Could you suggest an alternative method? Also, I’m using Private Internet Access as my VPN provider. Any other options for setting up PIA on the router would be appreciated. Thank you. The only video that explains what I’m trying to do works perfectly, unlike the one I found. The link is https://www.tp-link.com/us/support/faq/1239/.

This guide explains how to configure your router to function as a server instead of a client. You may need to set it up as an OpenVPN client and install OpenWRT if required.

I considered it too, but I haven’t shared anything yet. Makes total sense now. For recommendations, any guides or videos would help. Also, from the supported devices list, the Archer A7 AC1750 only supports snapshots.

The OpenWRT site describes the A7 AAC1750 module. You can find guidance on flashing it without prior experience or videos available online.
