I've been working on this project for a while and just want to finish it quickly. I'm looking for a genuine Windows version, even though some have mentioned Windows 8—it's okay if that's what you're after, since I intend to upgrade to Windows 10 later. I also prefer purchasing from a reputable store. This build is intended for gaming, so I don't want the higher cost of an I7. Additionally, I plan to get an all-in-one liquid cooler and overclock the 4790K eventually. My budget is about £610 in the UK. While that would be great, I don’t really need assistance with my PC setup, I just need help finding a reasonably priced Windows 7 or 8 copy.
He suggests it's likely a mix-up between i5-4690K and i7-4790K models.
That's correct, I understand. The model is set to recognize your processor model.
It seems there was a misunderstanding about the hardware. I didn’t think it was a gaming rig since I assumed you had an i7 processor, but it doesn’t appear to be the case.
