I've set up Win11 now and discovered it can't connect to unauthenticated network storage. I don't want to discard it easily, especially since I upgraded the motherboard for TPM 2.0 support. I'm looking into registry changes to enable SMB, but there are security concerns involved. Should I keep using this old NAS because the security trade-off feels worth it?

Is there another version of this information accessible in Win 11? If not, your options are limited. Adjust accordingly.
