Hey there, I searched for my problem but still need to clarify it more. I recently ran out of space on my SSD and went shopping for a replacement. The one I bought is the main drive for Windows and gaming. The second SSD I purchased today is just for storing extra games after installing Windows 10. When trying to boot from the old SSD, I encountered an MBR error message. I used the recboot command and EasyUS master partition. My next question is: did the new SSD overwrite the MBR on the first one? Should I simply wipe the SSD and play games without Windows?

You set up Windows on the second drive because it’s easier to work with the first SSD. Games can be installed on the second SSD using the first SSD setup. If you installed Windows on the second drive when the first was connected, the installer will use the original boot loader. You just need to rely on your existing system, format the new drive, and use it for installing new games. You won’t need a system running there.

No, eliminating the windows won't let the old SSD start up again.

If your previous SSD isn't starting with the new one unplugged, then proceed. Attempt to boot using just the old drive connected. If successful, connect the new drive while the PC is powered on and the older system is running (first power cable, then data connection), and after recognition, format the new drive with any available tool. If the old SSD still won't boot, you'll need to repair the boot process using Windows installation media. Occasionally, automatic fixes work, but sometimes you must run specific commands: https://www.groovypost.com/howto/fix-win...r-bootrec/. Perform these steps while only the old drive is connected.

I finally got it working by installing easybcd and making a new WBM for my SSD once more. Everything is fine now! I’ll never reinstall Windows to storage hubs again.
