I still have an iPad that hasn’t been used in a long time. I’ve tried charging it overnight with both the mini and the main charger. The Genius Bar said it won’t turn on and suggested replacing it, mentioning something about the logic board. I’m wondering if there are any ways to fix it, but I don’t want to accept that my device is permanently broken because I haven’t used it. Thanks!

Which iPad is this? It’s a standard, regular model... probably from a recent generation. Storing it for a while might drain the battery, but it should still function to some extent. Could have gotten wet during storage or another mishap.

It seems the power source is likely drained. Replacing it isn't usually recommended.

The 9th generation iPad Pro has been sitting on my nightstand all day, so I’m not sure it got wet.

These units seem to have stopped working completely, showing no signs of activity even when the battery is removed. Typically, repairs can be done at a phone service center for less than $100.
