And yes, I enabled offline browsing while connected online. The Ethernet cable was unplugged, yet the system still tried to connect to the internet. I checked online resources and found that signing in later resolves the issue, but it didn’t help with launching the game. It seems the game doesn’t actually support offline mode, or at least it’s not clearly explained as such. Some users claim to bypass this by using certain tricks, but it’s unclear if that works consistently.
