What is this nonsense. The Oculus sensors come with a stand as well as standard quarter inch threading. There's still no availability of wireless for the Vive either, plus it's just making the overall package outrageously expensive.
We discussed the stands. The sensors include stands, and you can manage with two, but having a third is recommended. It’s also worth noting the price is $340 lower than the Vive, not counting the extra costs like the headstrap and wireless add-on.
I was hesitant about something like that, but the feedback looks really strong! Still, it’s worth noting that this isn’t the most common choice... but it suggests the next generation will have an easier time going wireless, which is great news! It’s tough to spot them right now, but I think the price fits. I’ll try it out in the next-gen headset when they release it, both for gaming and development!
