i changed my 8700k to 4.7 all cores since going higher than 1.4v wasn't feasible. now i've seen occasional spikes in cpu clocks to 50x multiplier for brief periods, sometimes longer, which triggers a blue screen. it seems the system is disregarding the manual multiplier setting of 47. could you suggest possible reasons? my board is a 8700k Strix z370-f running at 1.35v, and i haven't looked into finding the lowest voltage yet. no avx offset bclk 100 or turbo boost settings are enabled, just speedstep on to downclock during idle.
