I'm struggling with RAM OC settings, haven't had success before. Recently upgraded Ryzen 1700 to 5600 with Corsair venge 3000MHz CL15, enabled DOCP and set speed to 3200, left others auto. Timing is 16-17-17-35, looks okay. Tried 3600 but didn't work; copied timing from other kits but still no luck. First question: can 3000MHz really reach 3600? If not, should I stick with 3200? Any easy guides would be helpful.
RAM OC might appear fine but isn’t actually functioning properly. I adjusted the timings and it seemed normal, yet certain programs didn’t work correctly—like Ryzen Master, which ran but couldn’t be edited. It took me a long time to realize the problem was with the RAM, and switching back to an XMP profile resolved the issue.
