I keep attempting to push my A10 6800k to 4.4GHz again, but now whenever I try overclocking or even slow it down, the monitor becomes unstable and after a few flashes, the lock screen appears.

I don't have much experience with overclocking, but I might be able to assist you...
You seem to be facing stability problems.
Increasing the voltage slightly or decreasing the frequency a bit can lead to a more stable system.
If you prefer staying within the safe range, lowering the frequency rather than raising the voltage is the better approach.

Regardless of what I did, it still caused flickering. After reinstalling Overdrive, everything is working fine now. Thank you.
