You're experiencing significant drive problems, locking up at full capacity and preventing restarts. The system stalls at "Restarting" and hard shuts down instead of allowing a normal reboot. Even after resetting, the drive remains unresponsive upon boot. It seems to occur when writing data, though backups seem to bypass the issue. The drive is less than 100 hours old, you recently installed Windows 11, and it wasn't detected until you changed the PCIx2 slot in BIOS. After renaming the drive letter in Disk Manager, the behavior stopped. It's currently located in the second M.2 slot on an Asus Maximus X formula drive. The only workaround is switching between x2 and x4 during installation. Anyone have any advice or insight into this situation? Is the drive completely failing?

It's a bit unusual, but are you sure the car is moving?

Updated with the newest BIOS, HDS displays no alerts yet, but the graph indicates the write speed halts for brief periods. Approximately 85% capacity is reached. Lowering it to 75% still causes the same problem.

I applied the new firmware and everything seemed fine immediately after turning it off. Reading and writing performed exceptionally well, handling 100GB in seconds while previous tasks took minutes for 10GB. However, after about 10 minutes of testing, the same problem persists Sad( the temperature stayed steady at 46°C throughout).

Attempted once more using a 100GB file, yet I obtained both read and write charts showing highs between 2.5 to 3GBps. Updating the firmware certainly helped, but there seems to be an ongoing issue with this drive.

Have you considered moving the hard drive again?

Apologies for the delayed response. I haven’t attempted this simple action yet; I’ve been on vacation and won’t be close to the computer soon. I’ll check back after returning, and I hope it’s the cause.
