Hello everyone, I recently assembled a new PC about a week ago. Everything worked fine until my boot SSD vanished from the BIOS last night and reappeared after a few restarts. Now it’s completely gone. I’ve turned off CSM (which is a known issue if enabled). Could you help? Do I need to replace the SSD with a new one? Please share its specs: Ryzen 5 5500 Zotac, RTX 4060, KIOXIA SSD Exceria G2 NVMe 1TB G-Series, 2×16GB DDR4 3200MHz, Seasonic 550W Gold, plus PSU Gigabyte B550 Gaming X v2 (rev 1.3), MobaXter. Thanks in advance!

Verify if your motherboard BIOS and SSD firmware are up to date. Noted several reports for the 990 Pro model. Check if similar issues exist for your specific system. In my experience, disabling power-saving mode on the SSD didn’t resolve it, so it might have been an isolated case. If you encounter the issue again, a cold boot could help speed up the resolution.

Consider switching the M.2 slot from the main port to another one.

The location doesn't really matter since both the CPU and chipset are integrated.

The CPU slot could be simpler, but checking it in another slot is better for troubleshooting.

Thanks in advance! Your support means a lot. I think I’ll go back and receive a Samsung Evo model.
