I just installed an Nvidia update... Let me explain what happened and what I did. I had Wallpaper Engine and Minecraft running while updating the driver through the Nvidia app. My PC briefly froze for a few seconds as Minecraft and the wp engine crashed. The update worked, but since then I’ve noticed small drops in FPS while playing games, especially Minecraft 1.19.4. The most bothersome issue is that my monitor now blacks for a second every time I switch tabs between Minecraft, another game, and it never used to do that. Do you have any suggestions on how to fix these problems?

I’ll also note that my PC fans spin a bit louder than before when under load, and my temperatures are just slightly higher than usual.

DDU and a fresh setup. I don’t know what occurred, but here’s what you should remember for your computing journey: when updating GPU drivers, shut down all programs, especially those that rely on the GPU.
