I was attempting to run RDR2 on my laptop for the first time. The machine has both Intel UHD graphics and an Nvidia RTX 3070. I wanted RDR2 to display on my laptop screen instead of my secondary MSI Optix G24C monitor. However, it won’t play on the laptop screen using the RTX 3070. I need to switch to the laptop monitor while keeping the RTX 3070 active. The RDR2 settings don’t allow changing the monitor, only the output adapter. The Nvidia control panel fails to recognize multiple monitors and only sees my MSI setup. It doesn’t let me enable more than one display even though both my MSI and laptop are listed in Windows and Intel UHD graphics. I’m unsure if they’re connected together. It seems your laptop’s screen is likely being driven by the integrated graphics card instead of the dedicated GPU. It doesn't seem connected to the game at all. Intel UHD graphics are showing full usage while frame rates stay under 10 even on the lowest settings.
