The newly built PC is not starting?
Hi everyone,
I recently purchased some new components for my setup. The current setup is as follows:
AMD Ryzen 7600 (New)
MSI Pro B650M-P (New)
Zotac 1050TI OC Edition (Old)
Samsung SSD 850 Evo (Old)
Antec 500w power supply (Old)
Two 16GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 RAM at 5200mhz
After assembling the PC, it failed to boot. The CPU and DRAM error indicators on the motherboard are active. I’ve verified everything is installed correctly.
I also attempted to upload the BIOS, but the flashing process keeps looping indefinitely.
Could someone assist with troubleshooting this issue? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
capture some photos of your build featuring power supply connections and share them on imgur.com or similar platforms, then include the links here.
Initially verify all your connections (I attached your motherboard manual shortly below).
Keep in mind to disconnect the power from the wall.
When troubleshooting begins, the first step is to eliminate anything unnecessary from the setup.
In your situation, attempt to see if the PC starts with just:
- Motherboard
- CPU and cooler
- One RAM stick, refer to page 8 (https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe...650M-P.pdf) to determine the correct dimming slot for the RAM.
- Connect your monitor to the motherboard video output
- PSU (power supply)
That’s sufficient; you don’t need the GPU or storage, just what I mentioned earlier.
If this doesn’t work, proceed with the other RAM stick.
The next step will involve using a USB drive—read the manual carefully and watch videos on updating your BIOS via USB. Make sure to download the appropriate BIOS version and follow each instruction precisely. (If you skip these steps, re-read them thoroughly.)
