I assembled the system yesterday and used it flawlessly for several hours. Benchmark tests showed everything functioning within specifications. Later, while watching videos, the machine stopped working suddenly. It wouldn’t power on even after unplugging and reconnecting, changing power outlets, or removing the PSU. Checking the GPU connections revealed it would only power on if the GPU wasn’t connected to the PSU. If I tried connecting the GPU back in, nothing happened. I also tried reinserting the CPU, but it still wouldn’t work. The GPU lights remained active even without a PSU connection, indicating it wasn’t completely inactive.
It was a used GPU that was still operational when installed; I didn’t overclock or modify it beyond the CPU. I’m unsure how to resolve this and am considering returning it as faulty, since I purchased it from eBay a week ago, but I want to confirm there’s no hidden issue.

Hey guys, I'll handle everything. The GPU I bought used on eBay means my original PC isn't available, but I have my current setup ready for testing. My PSU in the current PC is an EVGA SuperNOVA 650 G2 80+ Gold, so I'm unsure if it's powerful enough for the test. I'll check the specs to see if it's sufficient and try using the old GPU (980 TI) with it, which is a bit weaker but should help determine compatibility in the new PC.
