The new Vengeance DDR5 RAM model remains stable at up to 1.1 volts.
Hello everyone.
I purchased a new DDR5 RAM module but it doesn't allow me to increase the DRAM voltage or VDDQ, even up to 1.11. XMP failed to boot, so I attempted to use values higher than 4800, but after a week I'm still stuck.
I can change the values easily, and I was able to switch VDD and VDDQ from auto to 1.1, but I can't do that anymore because it prevents booting.
RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE DDR5 32GB (2 x 16GB) 6400MHz CL36 - - Intel XMP
Motherboard: Gigabyte B760M Aorus Elite
CPU: i7-14700KF (not very powerful)
It's on the list and installed properly. I tried one stick of RAM and tested it.
The previous RAM set worked with XMP and voltage, but this one failed after a week.
I also noticed that in Gigabyte Control Center the option to change VDD/VDDQ was disabled, unlike the old setup.
Apologies if I've missed something, I'm still new.

Current BIOS version in use?
Are the RAM slots A2 and B2 being populated?
You mentioned purchasing new RAM, what models were you using before this upgrade?
In Gigabyte BIOS there is a 'program mode' option under advanced DDR5 voltage control. It needs to be turned on for the RAM to accept vdim adjustments, not set to 'auto' or 'disabled' since that causes a 3-second restart loop during boot. It might be an issue I haven't fully understood, as they seem to lock manual vdd changes from the start.
