Im building a new pc and it wont turn on on the test bench. I made sure to plug in all power connectors and already tried to reseat the RAM and GPU. I don’t get a video output and there are no lights anywhere to confirm power delivery but none of the fans started spinning. I already tried to short the power pins with multiple objects and even the case power button won’t do it. There must be something I am missing? Any help would be appreciated. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fNvJt7

many images are available but none display the PSU. were you connecting the PSU correctly with a 24-pin and 4/8 pin setup? have you verified the PSU functionality independently, without connecting it to a motherboard?

I checked the setup and confirmed the components are connected correctly. Are there any additional pins you haven't accounted for?

consider changing to a CPU-only setup with just the CPU and one RAM stick. make sure you're connecting the correct power pins on the front panel. if that doesn't work, check the 3rd and 4th pins on the top row. remove the CPU power cable from the 4/8 pin and see if the board powers on. if it does, the issue might be with the PSU or the motherboard/CPU section. confirm the PSU connections at the end.

It was resolved. The issue wasn't related to my computer. The multiple socket port was faulty and likely didn<|pad|>. It worked better when plugged straight into the wall. Appreciate the assistance.

Consider trying a line conditioner. APC models the 1200r rating, which I use myself. It acts as a surge protector enhanced for better performance, stabilizing voltage changes and cleaning the power supply. Useful for avoiding problems from unstable electrical systems.
