Hello, I recently assembled my new PC and it isn’t booting correctly. It keeps getting stuck in BIOS even after the update. Sometimes it powers on occasionally, which seems like I resolved the issue, but I’m still unsure. I suspect the RAM might be the cause.

You purchased four RAM modules because you wanted to test with two in slots A2 and B2. 4 sticks of DDR5 are not ideal, so you opted for a different configuration.

Hello, thank you for your message. It appears that using DOC mode for RAM causes issues, preventing the system from booting properly. The LED mainly lights up orange, and sometimes it turns red for the CPU, followed by VGA and the white boot light. The four connectors don’t seem to help either. You mentioned updating the BIOS without any changes—any suggestions?

Use a single stick and test it.

all the tests passed, I had two sticks that functioned well as long as I kept the RAM under 4800MHz and the CPU stayed stable. Once I switched to Ryzen Master or played DOC, I needed to reset the BIOS to get a proper boot.

Processors vary widely; hitting 5,200 Mhz is normal for the 7800X3D as advertised. The CPU might be stock or overclocked—check the BIOS settings too, even if it was a fresh build. The power supply is usually reliable now, though instability can still occur occasionally.

when i try anything different, it doesn't start and stays stuck on the memory light on the motherboard. Sometimes it also hangs when using the VGA plus bootlight, and the power supply is a 650w corsair gold.
