Hello, I recently assembled a computer with these specifications. However, it won’t post when the graphics card is installed. I’ve used an MSI Pro B660-A with DDR4 Intel Core i5-12600K, EVGA 650W power supply, Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB 3200MHZ, Samsung NVMe 1TB SSD, and GTX 1050 Ti. I’ve tried everything possible—updated the BIOS, downgraded it by clearing CMOS, toggled integrated vs dedicated graphics, and swapped out the motherboard, CPU, and RAM with identical parts. Everything seems fine until the GPU is added. It won’t even display anything; fans spin but there’s no output, and no error lights appear on the motherboard. I’ve tested other GPUs, confirming they work in different setups. Please advise how to resolve this issue!

Ensure the display cable is connected to the GPU, not the motherboard. If you're already following that, connect it to the motherboard instead.

I've tested connecting the display cable to both the GPU and the motherboard. The only time I see a display output is when the GPU isn't installed and the cable is plugged into the motherboard. When the GPU is installed, nothing appears on the screen. I've also tried turning off integrated graphics and switching it back on, but neither setting works.

The GPU can function on a different system, but its performance may vary depending on the hardware specifications and compatibility.

The GPU functions on different platforms. You can access Windows via IGUI. The connection type depends on your display—HDMI or DisplayPort. Note that DisplayPort may behave differently with older graphics cards.

The GPU functions correctly on another system, allowing access to Windows and BIOS during uninstallation with integrated graphics. I've explored HDMI and DisplayPort options, but it seems the issue might relate to BIOS settings. There may be specific MSI BIOS configurations causing this problem.

Check if the GPU fits in the second PCIe x16 or x8 slot.

I attempted this earlier, but for some reason it functioned now. However, it’s still not working in the X16 slot. Could you give any tips on what to try? It seems like the issue isn’t a dead socket, as I’ve replaced the motherboard twice with the same M.

Could the problem stem from a BIOS setting related to PCIe on the expansion slots? Have you reinitialized the CMOS or verified the PCIe configuration?
