I recently upgraded my CPU from a Ryzen 1400 to a Ryzen 5800x. My specs are 2666 16GB of Kingston memory RX570 4GB ASRock B450 Pro4 (BIOS 5.7). The crashes kept saying whea_uncorrectable_error. At first, I thought it was a heat problem, but my CPU runs normally at 50-60 and 80°C during startup. It doesn’t crash when not booted into Windows 10, in BIOS or via recovery tool. I checked for faulty drivers, but found nothing. I’ve read on YouTube that bent pins might be the cause, though I haven’t tested that yet. I also considered Windows being the issue, but I’m unsure how to proceed. This has cost me a lot of money and I don’t know what to do next.
Check for RAM or BIOS/mobile issues. Update or replace the affected components.
I attempted to download the BIOS but encountered an error mid-process. It appears your system thinks Windows isn’t installed. I’ll update the BIOS and install a fresh Windows tomorrow morning. Right now it’s showing this message and seems unstable. I’ll test it on another SSD and let you know what happens.
I just tested it with the 8.01 and 4.6 versions, but neither resolved the problem—it looks like the issue persists even after updating to Windows 11, still causing the blue screen of death.
I didn't notice it was the B450M Pro4. Either way, I installed various versions and am using the newest one now. Nothing appears to be broken after updating to 8.01. The game runs smoothly at around 400fps, but it crashes with a blue screen when closing. I also tested on Windows 11 with an extra SSD, but the same problem continues.
Next, test the RAM without XMP or DOCP settings. Perform a Memtest using Passmark Memtest86 or Memtest86+.
