Hello, I've been using my OC for about two years now and recently upgraded my RAM from 16GB (two 8GB modules) to 32GB (four 8GB modules). It worked perfectly and the system started up smoothly at 2133. However, when I accessed the BIOS to enable XMP settings and set it to run at 3200 MHz, I received a "Memory overclock fail!" message along with some confusing options that suggested rebooting. I've searched online and tried increasing the voltage as recommended, but it didn't stick either. The system boots fine at 2133 on W11, but I'm aiming for 3200 MHz. I double-checked that I purchased identical Corsair Vengeance DDR4 3200 MHz sticks, and they look just like the previous ones. Here are my PC specs along with some screenshots and a link to the new RAM. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. PC details: CAS: Lian Li Lancool II Mesh Black Mid-Tower Gaming Chassis CPU – Intel Core i7-11700K (8-core, 3.60GHz base, 4.90GHz turbo, 16MB cache, UHD graphics), Ultimate OC compatible fan. HDD: 2TB Seagate BarraCuda SATA-III 6.0Gb/s 7200RPM. Keyboard: None selected. SSD: 512GB Intel 670P M.2 NVMe PCIe SSD (3000MB/s read, 1600MB/s write). Memory: 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4/3200MHz dual channel, Corsair Vengeance LPX with heat spreader. Monitor: None selected. OS: Windows 10 Home (64-bit). Power supply: Cooler Master MWE 750W 80+ Bronze gaming style. Sound: High-definition built-in audio. USB ports: USB1 included. Video: MSI GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8GB with ray tracing, DX12, VR readiness, HDMI, DP – supports up to 4 monitors. This is what I bought: https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B0143UM4TC?p...ct_details. Let me know if you need anything else.

Check the details of your previous RAM and compare them with the new one. Or did you purchase two identical sets of the updated RAM?

Currently it seems fine, adjust the cash latency to 18 and check if that helps

Generally, the packaging and RAM modules are designed to fit together naturally.

I've secured it now—it's not. Updating the BIOS might help and could also boost RAM stability.

In that sequence, verify your BIOS version and upgrade if a newer model exists. Corsair does not manufacture RAM; only Samsung, Micron, and SK-Hynix do. Others source RAM from these companies and add their labels, heatsinks, etc. Using two sets of Corsair DDR4 3200 CL16 that were made a while apart may lead to incompatible configurations.

Consider adjusting your RAM speed to 3200MHz through the BIOS settings. I applied this change on my 5600 system and it resolved the issue completely.
