Zen+ supports 3000MHz on dual sticks, seems correct. Previously you were using 2x8GB at 3200MHz, now switching to 4x8GB at the same speed. Be aware that two separate kits might not function properly together, and the higher capacity could strain your 2600X. Turn on XMP settings, lower the frequency to 2933MHz, and run Memtest to verify stability.

That's accurate. Since four sticks remained blue-screened, I’m going back to the original 2x8GB drive at 3200MHz. Using the same setup I used before would likely still cause problems. I’ll give it a try.

Usually it doesn't lead to problems, though it isn't a certainty. It might be due to a less-than-strong CPU memory controller—nothing too serious. If you use 2933MHz and let us know, we'll take it further. Also, ensure your BIOS is up to date.

I haven't changed the BIOS yet, so I'll probably update it and adjust the MHz. Should I stick with two cards or use all four?

I made the updates to the bios and adjusted the RAM speed to 2933. The performance remains unchanged, still quite slow.

You might want a set that includes four sticks.

Execute MemTest86. Should no issues appear, it might just be an odd behavior from the operating system, as @Moonzy mentioned earlier. Remember, you already have two 2x8GB drives, one of which you won’t be able to swap out, so using them wisely is important.

Consider testing the full 32GB to ensure everything functions properly, or stick with the original 16GB if you're unsure.
