I recently assembled a new PC and posted it for the first time, but faced problems with my BIOS not detecting the two M.2 drives. I experimented with several solutions, but the most effective was removing one drive, turning on safe boot with “Windows UEFI”, and activating CPM. During testing, I discovered that setting CPM to “Legacy” instead of “UEFI” prevented it from posting, which triggered a white LED on my motherboard. I found a white light online might relate to the VGA indicator, and the only resolution was resetting the CMOS. Eventually, after multiple attempts, I managed to boot into Windows, though restarting would still show the white light without success. I had to reset the BIOS again and reapply the same configurations. Over time, I’ve adjusted BIOS settings and reset it repeatedly. Any suggestions for resolving this? (Reminder: When I first powered on, the BIOS reported a CPU fan speed error, heatsinks spun, but I’d ignored the “ignore” option in BIOS. Could this be connected?)
