I assembled this PC from https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gTTwjZ but it won’t boot. I double-checked all connections—CPU, motherboard, and GPU are properly secured. The display is plugged into the GPU, and I’ve connected it to my GPU, so everything seems correct. Still, the monitor shows black, the VGA light is on, and the boot light appears. I removed the GPU and tried showing through the motherboard, but nothing works. The BIOS sticker on the motherboard confirms version P4.20, which means my Ryzen 5 series and NVIDIA 30+ series GPUs should work without an update. Still, nothing is displaying. I’m considering replacing the motherboard entirely due to this issue. TLDR: VGA and boot light stay on, but no output; I can’t access BIOS.
I haven't reviewed the troubleshooting steps yet. Could you confirm if you've checked the pinned section?
Have you experimented with the second PCIe expansion slot for the GPU? It’s only 8x and seems to fit. Also, would it work if you booted with any older GPU—like the GT710? Since not all Ryzen models include an integrated graphics, that might be the issue. It could also relate to RAM; I’ve seen some users with Corsair RAM on their 5900X report similar problems. Have you tried using just one stick and checked each slot?
