You recently purchased your first PC and added a Wi-Fi plus Bluetooth PCIe card. After connecting it, the system fails to start because the motherboard yellow light is illuminated. It’s unclear what’s causing the issue or how to resolve it.

It was the one designed for a standard PCIe port, while the other fits into an M.2 WiFi slot on the motherboard.

Are there alternative slots you'd like to explore? Usually the farthest x16 slot from the CPU works well since it's rarely shared with the GPU, but the x1 slots shouldn't be used either.

I've checked every available slot on my motherboard and still got the same outcome.

It seems like it might be faulty. Have you connected the USB cable and tried again?

The same issue occurred with the same network card. Check your motherboard manual and confirm the 4-pin connector is placed correctly. Note: It was actually the TPLink AX3000; still advise reviewing your documentation.
