Hello, I'm experiencing some problems with my new PC. The system freezes and restarts whether it's in use or idle. I've checked several details: CPU temperature stays below 60°C, GPU stays under 65°C, memory tests passed without errors, Windows installation was successful, and the issue lasted about three hours before freezing. No .dmp files are being created, the system ran SFC/Scannow and DSIM without corruption, BIOS is up to date. I'm unsure what's causing this. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Best regards, Gerald PS

Firmware for SSD? You've tested it without XMP or any other method.

Consider using just a single RAM stick—possibly adjust the slot or swap it with another. Remove the GPU and attempt to use IGPU. Keep everything running at default settings. Take the OS installation media out and reinstall Windows on the second drive to verify. Reconnect all components and double-check connections.

Hello, I verified through Samsung Magician that the M.2 SSDs are running the latest firmware (Version 5B2QGXA7). A diagnostic check was also performed and both passed. The XMP/EXPO settings were already confirmed: RAM configuration includes four 16GB modules using GSKill DDR5 Trident Z5 RGB at 6000MHZ, operating at 3600MHZ instead of EXPO.

Hi, your Gigabyte X670 Aorus Elite Ax motherboard seems to have an issue with the DIMMs. Since it won't boot when using slots 1 and 3, it might be a problem with the hardware or a compatibility concern. Check if the DIMMs are correctly seated and consider testing with another slot or contacting Gigabyte support for guidance.

I believed 2 and 4 were the default first positions but that's fine. Don't arrest me on that. It's typical that 1 and 3 don't work unless 2 and 4 are taken.

Sure, it looks like you're checking how the system reacts when DIMM 2 is filled. Let me know if you need further details!

However, as mentioned earlier, the DIMMS (when all connections are active) operate at 3600MHZ by default. That makes a crash virtually impossible because of this setting.

Reviewed the RAM modules and arranged them properly based on their serial numbers. Let me know if this resolved the problem.
