Hello, Tech Support. I own an ASUS Transformer H100 Laptop that had a dead battery for about ten years. This week I replaced it with a new battery purchased from eBay and installed it inside. When I tried to charge it using the original charger, it wouldn't work. Can you help?

It could be due to improper installation, a defective new battery, or a faulty laptop motherboard.

The description mentions new items, but the condition specifies an open box. I would exchange the battery and seek a fresh unit.
