I recently purchased and set up a new xfx radeon rx480 4g card into my system:
Radeon Software Version - 17.4.2
Radeon Software Edition - Crimson ReLive
Graphics Chipset - Radeon ™ RX 480 Graphics
Memory Size - 4096 MB
Memory Type - GDDR5
Core Clock - 1266 MHz
Windows Version - Windows 10 (64 bit)
System Memory - 8 GB
CPU Type - Intel® Core™ i5-4460 CPU @ 3.20GHz
After two hours of gaming, it began displaying strange artifacts while browsing the web (small black squares) and colors became distorted in every game. The temperature remains normal during games (maximum 75°C), but playing any game becomes challenging due to these color issues. Also, I'm using a 600W power supply.

Then it's definitely a hardware issue. But hey, calm down... Amazon actually has a pretty good return policy! I also sent back my GTX 1060 after receiving a defective one. All you have to do is go to Amazon >> My Orders >> click on RETURN OR REPLACE ITEMS, and proceed with the return. Before that, try reaching out to the seller who sold it. Let them know it's faulty unless they're a really bad one—they'll help you through the process. Also, don't email them, just call them! Good luck, and it's disappointing to hear this.

I believe the problem might lie with the VRAM modules on the card. The artifacts, even at acceptable temperatures, could indicate faulty VRAM. Unfortunately, there aren't many options for fixing this on your own. I suggest returning it through RMA and buying a replacement... It's disappointing to have to send it back and get a new one!

Wait, if the card is faulty, does that mean the company is obligated to provide a replacement without you paying?

If the card is defective, it would automatically be covered under warranty. As long as it remains within the warranty duration.

I have the card for two days, but the issue began two hours after I finished installing it. 😞
But I haven’t made any changes before, so what should I do? Who should I contact?

I have the card for two days and the issue began two hours after I finished installing it.
But I haven’t received anything before, so what should I do? Who should I contact?
Where did you purchase it from?
And a second question: which drivers did you install? Did you download them or did you install them from the disc? Because it could be due to the Video Memory issue; it might just be the drivers related to the card.

I purchased it from amazon.uk with the newest drivers and the latest amd crimson software from the amd website. At first, everything worked fine for the initial two hours, but then it began to deteriorate gradually, with more and more issues appearing over time.

I just finished some more research and it looks like many folks are facing issues with their RX 480s, but that doesn't mean it's a bad card at all. Let's move forward and replace it. Wait, hold on—wait and congratulations! You're gaming! Anyway, thanks for letting me share my first "BEST SOLUTION"! Cheers to you!
If you need help later, we're here to assist! Please let us know how the return went! Good luck!
