I placed an order for a brand new Asrock 7900 XT Phantom Gaming on Newegg. While under heavy use, the GPU started vibrating noticeably, to the point where I could feel it from my desk. I returned it to Newegg expecting a faulty fan bearing, but after a week the replacement GPU began vibrating as well—especially when adjusting speeds. It’s possible the vibration isn’t just from the fans, though it seems likely given the RPM range of 1700–2000. I’m still trying to figure out the cause.

A lot of vibration means noticeable shaking or buzzing, especially from devices with fans operating at maximum speed. In many inexpensive, basic desks like those from IKEA, this can be clearly felt.

It seems like the production line isn't working well. Let's find a better candidate.

My Asus TUF 6800 XT also shakes, but only when spinning fast between 2700 and 3000 RPM, which fits with the fan thickness. So it seems the build quality might be the problem if it vibrates at lower speeds. Still, I’m not sure if your PC has foam pads on its feet to absorb the noise.

The shaking might come from an uneven fan. It could also relate to a QA problem. To reduce the vibrations, you can secure the GPU with a pad made of rubber, foam, or felt. This should help lower the noise to some extent.

My case includes foam pads, but they vibrate excessively. The only solution I have is transferring them to my friend's PC to check if the same problem occurs. He has the identical card and model but from Micro Center, and he didn't face this issue. I'm concerned that the new card might reject my return since I redeemed Starfield. It should work with the card as a bundle.
