Received a 3070 EVGA FTW3 ultra, replaced the previous GPU. After powering on the PSU motherboard, the lights flashed briefly and the PC failed to start. Removed the new GPU and the system didn’t boot. My old PC was functioning yesterday. Current specs: CPU R5 3600, M.2 Gigabyte B550 Aorus Pro AC, RAM G-Skill RipJaws 5 2x8 GB. Old GPU was an MSI 2060 Ventus OC with Corsair CX650 80+ Bronze. I’ve owned all components for over a year and a half; this was the only new purchase this year since my old one stopped working. I’ve had some bad luck recently.

Did you accidentally trigger the overcurrent protection? You could try disconnecting the computer from the power source, waiting ten minutes, and then restoring it. This might help if the GPU wasn't recently added.

Shifted to the troubleshooting area. After removing the RTX 3070, unplug the power source and reconnect it, then turn the power back on via the back panel switch, and attempt to start the system.

No, it doesn't boot with the older 2060 model.
