I noticed a faint shadow around moving items on my new Asus display. My previous model showed this effect too, but it was much less obvious—likely due to its color gamut or brightness levels. The test I ran is here: https://www.testufo.com/#test=crosstalk&...&pursuit=0. Seeing a slight outline behind objects confirms it’s ghosting.
Are you connecting with an HDMI or VGA cable? I noticed the issue you mentioned often appears with lower quality or extended VGA cables. It seems to occur mainly with 35 feet or longer VGA runs. If you only observe this problem during that specific test, it should be acceptable. I'm currently using DP to VGA and HDMI to VGA adapters, but I haven't seen the issue elsewhere.
It seems like the problem might be related to VGA settings or an overly active response time adjustment.
Response time reduction is the feature you're referring to. It helps speed up color changes in pixels, preventing overshooting and reducing strange movements near moving objects. Available on your BenQ and RTA models.
