XMP is definitely activated. Are there other motherboards with this feature? Did the system begin powering up only after you shifted the case? I'm trying to understand what's happening.

It began after updating the BIOS. Verify your motherboard model by checking your memory specifications. If it isn't included, your motherboard may not be compatible with XMP support for that model.
