Purchased a new Chromebook, an Acer Spin 514, which is a 2-in-1 model. I was using it and had plenty of battery remaining. After closing the laptop lid, it either powers off or puts the device to sleep. When I opened the laptop, the screen didn’t turn on. On the left side of the screen, an orange light flashes intermittently. Why isn’t it activating? It seems like the battery is fine since it had a good charge. I tried charging my laptop, but it didn’t help. How can I wake it from sleep or reset it? When the lid is opened while the device is running, shouldn’t it return to the main screen?

Use the power drain pinhole at the base of the gadget to compel it to restart.
