I have a D-Link DIR-867 AC1750 router and Fios gigabit internet. I connected it using a QVS cat6 cable 10ft. I was experiencing around 300mb download on wireless and about 600mb on the hardline. I planned to relocate the router and needed a longer connection. I purchased an AmazonBasics RJ45 Cat7 25ft cable. My hardline speeds remain steady at roughly 60mb download, with wifi ranging between 20-30 seconds. I attempted to reset the router and modem without success. When I reused the cat6 cable, speeds returned to normal. Is this issue with the cable or something else?

It seems the cable might be faulty. The Cat7 standard should support 25 feet without any loss of signal.

That's what I thought. I don't see any other explanation for this.

There seems to be an issue with the cable. I have a CAT6 wire around that length that supports 10Gbit speed.
