The new build isn't displaying correctly...
Hello everyone! My new PC isn't working as expected. It's showing error code 0d, the reboot button triggers an A6 alert, and the DRAM indicator stays orange. The rear IO power from the motherboard doesn't appear to be supplying energy, so devices won't turn on even when connected. I've taken pictures of everything and tried using two RAM sticks instead of four, but it hasn't helped. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
I attempted to restore the BIOS settings, but the connectors on the back aren’t receiving any power, which prevents it from working.
I’ll start with the first slot using a single stick. The 8-pin and 4-pin connectors are connected at the top left, and the 24-pin is there too. I should check if any of the additional power connectors need to be removed from the top left if something seems off. The reboot button keeps changing the error code to A6, so I have to keep pressing the power button until it stops and then try again, but it always returns to the same issue—no boot.
Did you see the flashing like this? Go to FAT32 - (Optional: Disconnect CMOS battery with PSU OFF for 5 minutes before): BIOS: (optional: attempt bios version 1216 prior to updating to 1401) https://rog.asus.com/dk/motherboards/rog...desk_bios/
You're welcome! The BIOS update helped after taking out all the RAM modules.
Hello, I understand you're facing the same issues. You're using the same motherboard and CPU, but no display appears. The system shows a 0d message and the RAM light is always on. After updating the BIOS, nothing changed. Could you check if there might be any hidden settings or recent changes that could affect this? Before the BIOS update, did anything seem normal?
No display needed—just lights came on when I faced issues. The BIOS caused the problem. I had to take out every RAM stick so the BIOS Flashback could function. Keep the PC powered off, then turn on the PSU power before pressing the flashback button for 5-10 seconds. Wait about 10 minutes and it should work.
