Hi,
I purchased an AsRock B650M Pro RS with Wi-Fi + AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and DDR5 RAM 96GB (2x48GB). Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to boot at all. I’m seeing two bright red lights on the CPU and RAM. I’ve tried every possible RAM setup using one stick each, but the problem continues. I’m running out of ideas and unsure whether it’s the board, CPU, or RAM. I don’t have access to other hardware for testing.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

When sharing a troubleshooting thread, it’s important to provide full system details. Please list your specifications clearly, for example:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
RAM:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
Include the age of the PSU along with its make and model. Also, note the BIOS version on your motherboard at this time. You should see a sticker indicating the version. Are the RAM sticks in slots A2 and B2? It might help to reduce pressure on the CPU socket for the cooler and check if the problem continues.
I personally would have avoided using an ASRock motherboard.
Moved the thread from the Motherboards section to the Systems section.

The only GSKILL 96GB kit available for that motherboard is listed on the QVL. AMD does not offer strong support for this size, so you might need to use different RAM.

I purchased these and the results remain unchanged
🙁
Crucial Pro 96GB DDR5 RAM Kit (2x48GB), 5600MHz (or 5200MHz or 4800MHz) Desktop Memory UDIMM 288-pin, works with 13th Gen Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 7000 - CP2K48G56C46U5
Strong red indicators for both CPU and RAM. I'm beginning to suspect the issue lies with my CPU or motherboard.

Purchase a less dense kit such as 2x16 for testing. Should that not work, send back the CPU if available within the return window; otherwise, initiate an RMA. If the newly returned RMA'd CPU still causes problems with the test kit, send back or replace the motherboard. Good luck!
