Hello everyone,

I recently installed a new setup for my son who is graduating high school in less than two weeks, and I’m still having trouble getting the monitor to activate during the first boot.

Here’s what I have so far:

- Rog Strix B650E-F Gaming Wifi
- Ryzen 7 7800x3d
- Merc 310 Radeon RX 7900XTX
- Trident Z5 Neo RGB DDR5 6000 2x8GB (slots A2 and B2)
- HP SSD FX900 PRO 2TD M.2
- iCUE H150i elite Capellix XT Cooler system – Corsair
- G.SKILL MB850G (80 Plus Gold)
- Corsair D5000 Case

All components are brand new, from packaging to installation.

For the cooling setup, I’ve added several fans: three on the top of the case blowing air into the system via the radiator, three more on the back left side blowing air inside, and one at the rear sucking air out. That’s a total of ten fans. On startup, the fans spin gently, and the RAM does too. The motherboard lights are on, with a solid orange or amber glow in the upper right corner. The graphics card lights up, but the fans don’t spin because I haven’t installed the drivers yet. I also skipped installing Windows since I can’t get the system to communicate with the monitor. It stays in an amber state, not flashing or showing anything, even when I connect my monitor to the HDMI port on the card and the card’s own port.

I tried removing both RAM sticks and still couldn’t get a display. After placing one stick in slot A2 and booting up, nothing happened. I removed the graphics card and connected the monitor in mode, but it still didn’t work. I also took out the CMOS battery for 30 minutes, held the power button for 60 seconds to drain power, then turned off the power supply using the toggle switch and unplugged it from the system. No matter what I do, the monitor doesn’t send any signal.

If you have any further questions or need more details, let me know. I’m doing my best to help.

Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Consider placing the case on its side to ease pressure on the AIO's block until it rests comfortably on the CPU's IHS. Ensure your board has display output when not connected to the iGPU—disconnect the discrete GPU and see if this improves your setup.
Check your CPU's socket for any bent or damaged pins.

Thank you for the friendly greeting. I checked the CPU and found no pins—just small pads everywhere, everything looks fine. After taking out the graphics card and connecting the monitor to the motherboard, there was still no display.

Examine the pins within the CPU socket, avoiding the pads on the CPU itself.
