The network card is unable to link with the modem or router.
Hey everyone. I just installed Spectrum in a different location. My PC has a PCIe Intel Ethernet card inside. Previously, I used CenturyLink and connected my PC directly to their router. Now, with Spectrum, the modem is linked to one of their routers. The issue is that my computer accepts the Ethernet card normally but doesn’t detect it when I plug in a cable. I’ve checked for conflicts, reinstalled drivers, removed and reinserted the card, and even tried connecting the modem directly to my PC without success. I’m currently using a laptop with Wi-Fi to the router. I also tried connecting the modem straight to my PC, but it didn’t work. One thing I noticed is that when I turn off the PC, the Ethernet card light turns green while the power switch stays on, but it only lights up a few times during startup and then stays off. Do you think I should replace the Ethernet card? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
