I'm working on a simcard dongle project on a server computer. Using 4-5 dongles works smoothly without issues, but once the count reaches 7 or more, all devices stop being recognized after roughly 7-8 hours. It appears the problem is tied to the number of connected devices—fewer cause no trouble, while more lead to failure over time. Anyone have faced similar challenges with multiple USB devices dropping out during long runs? I'm trying to determine if it's a power limitation, bandwidth constraint, driver issue, or something else. Any advice on checking or troubleshooting would be helpful!

It seems there might be a potential power problem. Would you like to add a powered USB hub to the setup?

I'm still struggling to find something in my country, but I've already placed an order—it should be on its way. At the same time, I'm seeking more understanding about the matter.

When drawing excessive current through USB, these problems occur. It seems to be a typical scenario.
