I’m setting up a new PC using the MSI X470 Gaming Plus as the mainboard. I plan to install two MSI GTX 1080 Ti gaming GPUs connected via SLI bridge and one MSI GTX 1050 Ti for my virtual machine setup. I need to confirm if the MSI X470 can handle three GPUs at once. (Just checking if the board supports multiple GPU installations.) My specs include a Ryzen 7 2700X CPU, 8GB DDR4 RAM, and a 1000W gold-rated PSU from Cooler Master.

It refers solely to the 3-way AMD CrossFire technology without any reference to SLI.

You can utilize three NVIDIA GPUs but not via SLI, meaning they must be distributed across virtual machines. Running two GPUs together in SLI isn't possible on the same system. You'd need a gaming M7 AC or a professional Carbon motherboard (for MSI models) that supports SLI.
