Hi, I recently purchased all the components for assembling a new PC, but it’s still not posting. I bought an MSI PRO B550M-VC WIFI Micro ATX motherboard, which supports the Ryzen 5 5600x I own. I’ve rebuilt the system multiple times, double-checking every connection, yet it doesn’t work. The PC powers on and all fans operate normally. My old RX 560 4GB GPU also works fine, but it seems unrelated. The boot light on the motherboard stays illuminated even after turning the PC on. I suspect an issue with the storage device. I have a Patriot P300 M.2 Gen3 x4 SSD, and I made sure it was installed correctly, but the problem persists. I also tried different RAM modules without resolving the issue. I checked the MSI website for compatible storage options, but the Patriot SSD wasn’t listed. It seems I should consider a different SSD from the recommended list, though I’m concerned it might not solve the problem since many recent boards support M.2 drives. I’m hoping someone here can offer more insight or alternative solutions. Thanks!
You didn't resolve the problem despite using identical procedures and new components.
