The MSI MEG Z390 ACE CPU debug light is illuminated with an error code of 00.
Hello everyone... I'm having trouble booting my MSI Z390 Meg Ace Mobo. The CPU debug light is red, but it seems to work fine after replacing a good RAM stick. My RGB Corsair Vengeance Pro RAM sticks light up completely, and I’m considering trying other RAM modules that I know function properly. Once powered on, the fans don’t turn on at all—only the GPU fan spins and some LED lights flicker. Could anyone have any ideas? Maybe it’s a faulty board or a bad power cable connected to the PSU? I’m not sure what to do next.
To see the BIOS version, try connecting your PC to a USB drive with the BIOS utility installed and run it. If it boots, you’ll find the details; otherwise, you may need to reset or repair the system. To downgrade, use a bootable OS like Linux or a recovery tool to restore older settings.
It seems everything is in rough shape. The motherboard is getting power, but it looks like it might be damaged. The CPU appears to be fine, and the RAM isn't working properly—no lights up and fans aren't spinning. The RGB light works a bit, but the debug light is on with error code 00. Any ideas? Thanks for your help.
