The Msi Kombustor experiences crashes during overclocking.
The Msi Kombustor experiences crashes during overclocking.
PC Specifications: i5 4670k
Graphics Card: GTX 980 Ti
Memory: 12gb RAM
Issue: After using Afterburner to overclock the GPU and Kombustor for benchmarking, I encountered performance issues. Core and memory clocks are struggling to exceed +100Mhz without causing crashes. Whenever I increase settings, the screen displays full desktop colors, and Kombustor stops working. Any advice on possible causes?
my default core clock on my gpu is configured at 1000 MHz if that's acceptable?
1000MHz seems fine. 1100MHz is a good increase.
If you aim for higher FPS, identify the limiting factor. I think it might be i5 with 12GB single channel RAM. What resolution and frame rate are you using?
You may want to try UserBenchmark without overclocking to see a general performance picture.

This question asks about the original clock speed of the CPU if overclocking isn't possible.
The default time on your GPU's core clock is configured at 1000 MHz.
