Hello everyone, I’m facing some unusual issues with my GP66 U10. I remember using it yesterday and turning it off, but leaving it plugged in because of a storm warning. After the storm passed, my laptop wouldn’t power on at all when I woke up. The only indication was pressing the tiny Tp-power-rst button while holding power on, which just made the fans spin. I didn’t get any screenshots, text, or LED signals. After opening it, I measured 19.87v at the charging port leads and confirmed the power adapter draws 20v at 11.5 amps. The battery readings were unclear, possibly due to user error. I removed the CMOS and tried disconnecting the onboard battery and various settings, but it still wouldn’t turn on. My main concern is needing the laptop for schoolwork, so I’m considering an older 2010 PC that doesn’t support NVMe drives. I have a USB C NVMe enclosure, but I’m wondering if it would work with my internal USB 3.0 port. Anyone have any suggestions for troubleshooting? I really need it back online. Also, I live in a rural area in Croatia, and from what I know, there aren’t many repair shops nearby.
