Is anyone in the UK able to lend me an older Ryzen processor? The AMD 3600 unit I own won’t communicate about sending a boot kit. If not, I’ll have to rely on the eBay/PayPal “not sold as described” policy. I’ve already attempted to flash the newest BIOS, but it’s ineffective. I’ve formatted the USB to Fat32, MBR, non-bootable, and MSI.ROM formats. The local PC shop offered £45 for a BIOS flash, which isn’t appealing. I’d rather accept a refund and purchase something with better support.

I’d purchase the most affordable Ryzen CPU model first, update its BIOS and return it. Then I’d send the AMD Ryzen 3 1200 along with a Wraith Stealth Cooler to the correct location.

For a better out-of-box setup, pairing the 3600 with an AM4 board would give you a smoother experience.

Good decision, though it doesn’t match your preferences for the MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX.

The information is unclear about whether the product meets Ryzen 3rd generation requirements by default. Tomahawk seems to be a valid option.

The buyer believes it, though I’m cautious—this gaming board left a strong negative impression. I placed an order for the Tomahawk from eBuyer... for Friday.

No, I don't have any information about Tomahawk Max. Could you clarify what you're referring to?

YEP managed successfully for the first time, and arrived sooner than anticipated as well.
