The MSI A520M A-PRO has 4 Case Fan Headers.
The MSI A520M A-PRO has 4 Case Fan Headers.
The product features two CPU fan headers and one system fan header, essentially a fan hub.
I purchased a custom-built PC with three system fans, and the CPU fan is also running. It seems the three fans are being detected as separate units despite only having two fan headers. You can connect them to other slots, but they’re still recognized individually. If you’d like, I can share a photo for clarity.
A device that can work around other fans' data or there might be more fan headers than listed in the MSI manual—maybe.
You have two options:
1) Ensure the fans operate at low power so they won’t overload the 1A cap on a header. For example, if each fan draws around 0.2A, three fans should work on a single power supply and you can use a 3-way splitter.
2) Purchase a Powered PWM fan hub and attach it to the back of the motherboard tray, eliminating concerns about fan power consumption.
