The MSI 980Ti overclocking results seem accurate.
Hi everyone, I wanted to share some changes I made to my 980Ti for testing.
I used two monitors, both at 1920x1080 resolution. I ran a benchmark on one while the other displayed my desktop and MSI afterburner.
I set the power limit to its maximum (109%) and increased the core clock to +130MHz and the memory clock to +100MHz.
During the Valley 1.0 test on "ExtremeHD" (Ultra mode with 8xAA), the core clock stayed around 1459MHz and the memory clock was at 1602MHz.
Temperatures stayed under 72°C, and I achieved a score of 4158 with an average frame rate of 99.4 FPS.
On the "Ultra" preset with 0xAA, my score rose to 6101 with an average of 145.8 FPS.
My other system runs an i7 6700K at normal speeds and has 16GB of Corsair Vengeance RAM.
Does this look good?
Yea appears accurate, sitting around 5% under my oc 1070, which matches the other benchmarks I've noticed.
