I was using my computer normally on YouTube and watching a movie. Suddenly, my mouse slid into the corner and started clicking. I tried unplugging the wireless mouse, but the cursor still stuck in the corner and clicked. When I connected another mouse, it didn’t help. After restarting my PC, I could log in, but after about three seconds, the cursor malfunctioned again. The delay made me think it might be a software issue. I looked up online, but most advice was to update the mouse driver. Unfortunately, I can’t use my mouse at all right now. Anyone have any suggestions for this problem? IMG_5464.MOV
I don't know what triggered it. Just start the system in safe mode and proceed with your actions.
You can verify the theory by starting in safe mode. Use Windows keys to navigate to Safe Mode, then proceed through the setup steps to Troubleshoot and adjust startup settings. Press the Safe Mode key; it should remain active. Avoid booting with network connections until you’re sure of the situation. Once in Safe Mode, you can either clear recent installations or run a virus scan using tools like Malwarebytes.
